"JUDGEMENT is the second album from this sadly underrated band, whos debut has been on regular rotation in this household since its inception back in 2014. Although the Negative Plane vibe surely is present, for obvious reasons, the band offers something even more ghastly, reminiscent of early Mortuary Drape and the classic early Rotting Christ-era, to mention some influences. I for one was not sure how they could top the debut, but it’s safe to say they have outdone themselves on this one. Definitively an album of the year for me, and I’m elated to be able to present not only their sophomore album, but a repress of the debut ‘Omniscient’ will be available at the same time, August 28th, 2020. What more fitting timing than the beginning of a new plague era.»

I came accross Black Curse, and their first demo, on Greg Biehl / No Gleaming Light YT channel in late 2019 and a bit later, in 2020, as it was covid, a whole lot of time was spent at home listening to music. In April 2020, I took a slap in my face. The songs that were already on the demo, with the new production here were so insane, it dragged me to hell. Black Curse is definitely one of the most violent band I listened in the last years. Next-level Black-Death metal for sure ! drs_dramm

Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world. This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms. zaphexa
