MikeHoncho1992 Fantastic BM that doesn't just one up the previous EPs, but expands on their style without sacrificing what I was looking for in them in the 1st place. Favorite track: Stellar Storms.

Michael Hojjatie Disgusting, majestic, brutal and exquisite all at the same exact time. Such lovely listening pleasure! Favorite track: Firebirds.

Asbestosdeaf This album is probably the closest that early-era Darkthrone has ever been to sounding like Rudimentary Peni. Favorite track: Worlds Open, Worlds Collide.

Matthew Toye It's such a shame that they split up, but they didn't go quietly into the night. Their debut embodies Norwegian black metal and then some. One Tail, One Head was one and done, but what a stellar one it was. Favorite track: Firebirds.

about

WORLDS OPEN, WORLDS COLLIDE
As said, time draws near. Finally. The music within this album holds so much of what has come to define us as a band, until now chiefly showcased in its live incarnation, ranging from the rabid, unruly primitivism of our early days to the ominous, slightly surreal atmospheres we began to explore later on. There is material here as old as ten years and even more, as well as what would be considered brand new (by us, anyway, Trondheim time applies). "Worlds open, and worlds, they truly collide!" In not too long we will be able to share it with you all.
Complete tracklist:
1. CERTAINLY NOT
2. ARRIVAL, YET AGAIN
3. WORLDS OPEN, WORLDS COLLIDE
4. STELLAR STORMS
5. AN UTTER LACK OF MEANING, HITHERTO UNBEKNOWNST, SUDDENLY REVEALED
6. FIREBIRDS
7. SORDID SANCTITUDE
8. RISE IN RED
9. PASSAGE
10. SUMMON SURREAL SURRENDER

Estimated release date: October 5th

But wait! We have something for you already now! Listen to RISE IN RED! Established as something of a live classic already years ago, debuted in front of an absolutely uncontrollable crowd in Prague (always the best, we salute you), we are pleased to have captured at least a tiny bit of that energy in this recording. It represents the more ferocious end of the spectrum as the album goes.

Listen, share, enjoy, or, well, don't.

Cover art by Izzy.
Full album credits in due time.
Steadily onwards to the end.
